Hilton Garden Inn Columbia/Northeast

I had a great overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia! I needed a place to stop on a long road trip with my dog and this was the perfect halfway point. Every staff member was friendly, hospitable, and went above and beyond to be accommodating and welcoming. The hotel was nicely updated with a small "store" to purchase snacks, beverages, and minor travel essentials, which was really convenient. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with high-end products. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will absolutely be staying here again!

We recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia, SC, and had a really pleasant experience. Despite our late-night arrival, the staff was incredibly accommodating and made check-in smooth and welcoming. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. One thing we appreciated was that the on-site snack shop was surprisingly well-stocked—they even offered coconut water, which was a nice find. For breakfast, they were kind enough to toast the gluten-free bread I brought along, which made breakfast feel easy and inclusive. Overall, the hotel was spotless, parking was easy, and the staff were wonderful. We’d definitely recommend this place if you’re in Columbia!

Clean, fresh well maintained rooms. Friendly staff and great cookies. My only complaint is the ice and vending on my floor was out of order.

I had the opportunity for the last three years to use this hotel to host my work event. The key things I enjoy about this hotel is premiere custom service. For example, I forgot a piece of equipment and they accommodated me with it which was super helpful and calming. Next, the communication between the staff is incredible by keeping each informed when shift changes occur. Third is the food always being expectational with flavor and taste.

I would definitely stay here again! I'm more of a vrbo vacationer. But I was there for an event that was only a day and half. Clean, convenient to restaurants and the interstate. The staff was wonderful for all meals. They really did a fabulous job! I didn't get their names. But management I was there Jan 9-10. Please tell them what a great job they did!

The hotel was located close to the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby area is brightly light and comfortable. In the evenings guests socialize in the lobby area. The floor I was on was quiet. The room was clean and appeared to have been recently updated.

The rooms were good, location is perfect, my only complaint was the "complimentary" breakfast. The employees were actually awesome very helpful, knowledgeable about the area and left us alone when we didn't want to be bothered. My issue is with corporate policies. The breakfast that used to be free and self serve is now hosted and requires a micro transaction. The micro transaction also allows a tip option. I have no problem tipping, I object to the corporate tactic of adding this so they can pay underappreciated employees less because they receive tips. The breakfast is low cost to be sure and certainly worth the cost. The problem is when I used to get it for free any cost raises eyebrows. Add in the micro transaction and documented tip falsely called complimentary and I see the picture much differently. Thank you for reading my rant, safe travels.

Had a great experience visiting this hotel as part of a business trip. Room was comfortable and quiet, staff was friendly, good breakfast, a great fitness center, and an in-hotel dinner restaurant open most days. No complaints!
